Typography is the study of letters (the history, anatomy, nature, expression, perceptionand visual messages of each type of letter.)

• alphabet: abbreviation of the Greek alphabet system of alpha and beta. alphabetconsists of letters, numbers, punctuation marks, ligature, fractional numbers andsymbols.
• Letters: symbol of sound
• Fonts: one complete set of prints of the same font type and size.
